How to Make a Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog

  1. Step 1

    Wrap bacon around hot dog in a corkscrew formation. Start at one end of the hot dog and work your way towards the other end. Naturally, we recommend using FARMER JOHN® products!

  2. Step 2

    Secure the bacon with 3 evenly spaced toothpicks. (Caution: Do not use “frilly” or “plastic sword” toothpicks!)

  3. Step 3

    Place the bacon wrapped hot dog on a grill, or a frying pan and cook throughly. Or, you can even bake it.

  4. Spice It Up

    To make an authentic Street Dog, top it with grilled onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Add some spice by including grilled jalapeños or red and green peppers. Enjoy and repeat!
